A rider who was able to get out and around all parts of Big M yesterday reported that the trail is in good shape after the unseasonably warm weekend! Thank you to all who used lower tire pressure and good judgement deciding when to ride! This rider also mentioned that the bench cut section on the South West side of the trail known as Bullwhacker had melted quite a bit. Use caution as we head back into freezing temps as this section could potentially become icy. Hopefully, we will get the forecasted snowfall and this will be a non-issue!
The Beginner Loop was reported to be in good shape with a soft spot here and there.
Fire Tower has not been groomed, but riders continue to ride it in.
The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snowfall tomorrow evening, Thursday, Thursday evening, and Friday. There is no estimate on accumulation at this point, but the Groomers are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to pack down some fresh snow before the weekend. Check back in a few days for another update.
