What could go wrong grooming at lunch on Friday the 13th. Not much actually, got stuck on a few downed trees and took a whopper of a tree branch to the face but other than that it went pretty well. There are LOTS of sticks down and trees bent over, I didn’t clear anything I couldn’t over or through so if you ride (with VERY low tire pressure) stop and clear some stuff please.
I did all of it. All the single track and most of the walking trails.

It will probably set up by later Friday night, there isn’t all that much snow in the woods, so much of it is in the trees still. If your tires aren’t squatty when you’re riding, in these first-groom conditions, you probably have too much air, I’m guessing between 3-4 will be the number that works.
As we get warm temps and rain on Monday the trails will probably be too soft to ride, but they should be great Saturday morning. Get out there and ride!
