Manistee Area – Wednesday 1/19/22

All of the Manistee area trails were in excellent shape last weekend and into the first part of the week. The Big M Outer Loop did suffer some ruts and footprints on the SW side on Friday afternoon, but these were somewhat smoothed out by plenty of weekend rider traffic. The Beginner Loop at Big M is rock solid and the Non-motorized trail park set up very nicely as well.

Temperatures were a little on the warm side yesterday, but it looks like we are headed back into below freezing temperatures today and tomorrow. If you head out today, pay attention to the stability of the base and adjust tire pressure accordingly.

There is some snow in the forecast for today and tomorrow. Groomers are on standby to smooth out the trails with any significant fresh snow that we may get. We’ll keep you posted!
