The Outer Loop was groomed on Saturday morning and overall the trail set up nicely. The section known as “Road Monkey” or “The Outback” has thin snow cover with some patches of dirt. As the temperatures drop, this section could become a little icy. The forecast calls for consistently cold temperatures over the next few days with a few inches of snow possible. Some fresh snow will help with those thin/icy sections.
The Beginner Loop was groomed on Sunday morning and is in good shape. Per usual, the trail could be a bit bumpy in some places until we get more snow.
